  1. I’m really pleased you got to hear this, Elly. Without the focus of the protest, I wouldn’t have written the poem. The fact that it came out as it did, is rewarding to me. ‘Lets Hallucinate the Same thing’ was a popular choice as winning poem, and I say cheers to that.

  2. This is totally beautiful & in my opinion deserved to of won the competition. You’re an inspiring Poet.

  3. I think it gets something of Swifts humour, but regardless that is more a general indicator of what Im looking for rather than an absolute rule to enter the competition.

  4. I like your style..,love this poem (shhh…it’s in my favorites)…it’s something that you can really sink your teeth into. And I truly adore your accent! Nice touch. I’ll be back.

  5. dash: I think it does… but with my slow-morphine-drip voice they call my stuff “Slowian” (RIMSHOT!)

  7. Thank you. I struggled with the form of the poem – it is new to me – but ended satisfied with the outcome.

  8. Excellent poem and ty for bringing to my attention the attempt to censor our minds.

  9. Thank you for entering the competition and for supporting freedom of speech. Another great poem, fantastic.
