For some reason the light was dark on the video too… somehow fitting!
powerful.
I’m really pleased you got to hear this, Elly. Without the focus of the protest, I wouldn’t have written the poem. The fact that it came out as it did, is rewarding to me. ‘Lets Hallucinate the Same thing’ was a popular choice as winning poem, and I say cheers to that.
This is totally beautiful & in my opinion deserved to of won the competition. You’re an inspiring Poet.
Simply, thank you.
another brilliant, well-written poem.
Again, thank you. This situation has got my juices going!
so very good; hits its mark deftly.
Lo
Thanks you. To spreading the word – Cheers!
Enjoyed this very nuch! Cheers!
Thank you – I did enjoy using a few meaty words!
Thanks, Rowan. Too late now to change it anyway!
I think it gets something of Swifts humour, but regardless that is more a general indicator of what Im looking for rather than an absolute rule to enter the competition.
I like your style..,love this poem (shhh…it’s in my favorites)…it’s something that you can really sink your teeth into. And I truly adore your accent! Nice touch. I’ll be back.
nb. Laughter is good for the soul ..
.. fast forward to thank you ..
dash: I think it does… but with my slow-morphine-drip voice they call my stuff “Slowian” (RIMSHOT!)

I appreciate your remarks, thank you. I’m glad, too, to draw your attention to this important matter of principle.
Thank you. I struggled with the form of the poem – it is new to me – but ended satisfied with the outcome.
Excellent poem and ty for bringing to my attention the attempt to censor our minds.
I have to say this is the tops ^.^ A great piece of work *****stars;)
I wonder, though, if it qualifies as Swiftian?
Thank you for entering the competition and for supporting freedom of speech. Another great poem, fantastic.
