How long is the recovery, generally, for liposuction around the mid section?
I’m thinking about getting liposuction around my mid-section and I need to hear from anybody who’s had this experience…
I’d like to know what to expect, how long the recovery usually is, is it safe, who’s a good doctor, etc…
I don’t know anyone who’s done it, so it would be nice to kinda hear from someone who has…

Liposuction is often performed as a same-day procedure, where you go to the surgeon’s office, free-standing clinic, or hospital, have the procedure and go home that day. Your surgeon will give you a detailed list of instructions to follow in the days after your procedure.
You will have some pain, bruising and swelling after the surgery, but this should subside within a few weeks. If the pain becomes extreme, contact your surgeon. Using cold compresses on the treated areas can minimize swelling and bruising. Your surgeon may instruct you about this.
